The Mother Cat Tries To Sneak Into The Vet Clinic To Be Reunited With The Abandoned Kittens

Nothing compares to the love of a mother, no matter if it is human or animal. In this story there is a cat that does the impossible for the love of his little babies

It happened in Whangarei, New Zealand. When staff from the Mill Road Veterinary Clinic showed up for work one morning, they were surprised to find four kittens, less than four weeks old, standing in a box outside the door. Although they thought that the little ones might have been abandoned, they took them in to care for them. One of the nurses even took them home overnight to make sure they were okay.

“Of course we all fell in love with her and Vet Nicole took her home to take care of her overnight.”

However, they soon discovered that they were not being abandoned at all after the security officer spotted a cat that repeatedly tried to sneak into the clinic. It was more than obvious that the four little fluffy balls were actually his. The clinic shared the beautiful story in a post on its Facebook page.

“This morning we saw a tabby cat hanging around the front door, trying to sneak in every time a customer arrived. Realizing that she was not going to disappear, we picked her up and discovered that she was a nursing mother. It was obvious that she was the mother. She let the kitten suckle [and] they loved it, ”Julie Wills, a veterinarian at the clinic, told the media.

After the secret is revealed, the clinic staff let the mother cat in for a tearful reunion with her babies. According to them, most likely the cat was also in that box with the kittens. Probably someone left them all.

Then the penny fell. In fact, we introduced them to the ‘orphaned’ kittens and they had a very happy reunion! ”The clinic wrote in a Facebook post. “She was probably in the box too and she escaped before we got to work. She’s probably been poking around all night looking for her [past] kitties! ” And because such a beautiful story can only have a happy ending, the cat and the young babies were adopted by a relative who is related to a clinic employee, the independent reported.

Apparently, cats have a reputation for breaking into places in the name of love. Years ago, a cat broke into a zoo enclosure to meet the lynx that he fell in love with. Take a look at his lovely story here:
