Firefighters are risking their own life to save ours. And there are not only humans they’re helping, but animals as well. And while we are so grateful for their great job, we can’t say the same for some animals they’ve rescued.
While trapped on a roof, Jessie, a Macaw parrot did’t have the best opinion about the rescue team sent to rescue her. And she expressed her thoughts by using some words just as colorful as its plumage is.
Parrot owner: To bond with her say 'I love you'
Firefighter: 'I love you'
Jessie the Parrot: 'I love you'
Jessie then turned the air blue & flipped the firefighter the bird. Read the story of the potty-mouthed parrot in Cuckoo Hall Lane https://t.co/Th2nlVkOJ8 © @PaulWood1961 pic.twitter.com/FSRCElx80V

The rescue team received some instructions from the bird’s owner. He told them to say “I love you” to try to better bond with the parrot. However, it seems Jessie doesn’t wanted to share the same feelings. In response, she wished their rescuer “to f**k off!”
“JESSIE HAD BEEN ON THE SAME ROOF FOR THREE DAYS AND THERE WERE CONCERNS THAT SHE MAY BE INJURED WHICH IS WHY SHE HADN’T COME DOWN.WE THEN DISCOVERED THAT SHE HAD A BIT OF A FOUL MOUTH AND KEPT SWEARING, MUCH TO OUR AMUSEMENT,” WATCH MANAGER CHRIS SWALLOW TOLD METRO.
As you probably expect, Jessie also ignored the firefighters’ attempts to convince her to come to safety. In the end, despite its grumpy mood, Jessie appeared to be perfectly fine. She was finally reunited with her owner, but only after she flew to another roof and then to a tree near her house.
