Great Dane hero saves 89-year-old neighbor’s life after tragic fall

I think it is right to say that dogs posses some “super senses.” Despite their sight and hear are far superior to ours, they also have that unique way to perceive the world around. And this incredible story proves it.

Sadie the Great Dane has always been a kind, obedient dog. That’s why Rob Jerry knew something was wrong after a walk on St. Patrick’s Day morning. His pup just stood at the end of the driveway when called for, refusing to move. Dad wondered what was going on, because it never happened before. And that’s when he heard a noise in the background that sounded like a grunting deer. He then realized it was actually someone screaming for help.

Sadie was trying to alert her owner for help, and it worked. Jerry followed the Great Dane and saw their 89-year-old neighbor, Albert Larson, on the ground and unable to move. The elderly man had fallen while going to get the mail.

It turned out the man had broken his hip, and who knows how long he would’ve lied there on the ground if it weren’t for Sadie. The Great Dane saved Albert’s life, and he’s very thankful for that. Find out more about the heroic dog, here:
