I loved this story. These animals had an unconditional kindness and respect for helping the less fortunate; we as humans need to be reminded of this small act of kindness. Beautiful story. I love all animals. From this story, I can ask : Who says animals don’t have souls? They’re just like we are, but their smaller brains make them not as capable as we are. That’s the only difference.
I love that place. What a beautiful back porch and backyard. Back in 2009, an Illinois-based woman started caring for a blind raccoon that would frequent her backyard. Eryn’s yard is bordered by a thickly wooded area, and she noticed that the raccoon displayed some pretty odd behavior.
