This kitty has been taking care of her little human brother since before he was born

It has to be some sort of magnetic connection between little kids and animals, since it’s nearly impossible to find a stronger bond. Although it’s really hard to find an explanation for this special connection between our four-legged companions and our babies, one thing is certain – every single time we sight such a duo, it’s nothing but heart-warming.

Apparently, cats can form unbreakable bonds with babies, even before they’re born. It’s the case of Panda, a 3-year-old cat whose unconditional love for her little human brother is something you won’t see everyday. And that’s because the gentle cat has been guarding the little one before he was even born.

“Once I got pregnant she started following me around the house, tucking her head on my belly, purring,” the mom, Liel Ainmar Assayag told LoveMeow. But Panda’s affection for her human brother, doesn’t stop here. After little Sean was born, the cat became even more protective and the special bond between them, even stronger.

“She loved him and kept him safe for 9 months inside, now she does the same on the outside! Unconditional love!” Assayaa said. “Now, 3 months later, she jumps on the bed near him, smells him, sits next to him. You can clearly see she loves him from the beginning!”

Even tough their mom gave Panda some clear instruction regarding Sean’s personal space, the kind kitty can’t stay away from his little human companion. “[She’s] not allowed in the baby’s bed when the baby is in the crib, but every time I put the baby in the crib I can see lots of cat fur all over the bed – guarding the bed for him,” the woman said.

According to Assayaa even call her during night, when the little baby struggles to sleep. “[She] call me at night when the baby is crying, laying down beside him to keep him safe.”
